Global Daily Crusade of Prayer Meetings

Global Daily Crusade of Prayer Meetings

We invite you  as a matter of urgency to pray the Crusade of Prayers and Litanies dictated from Heaven, spend time in prayer and have an open heart and mind to hear God’s call – where the only goal is for the salvation of souls.   We hope that you would help in your own little way to do just that – save souls.   A soul may depend on you.  In Jesus’ words, “I bring you the Gift of My Crusade Prayers so that by reciting them you will help Me to save as many souls as I can.”  (September 1, 2014)

New Crusade Prayer (171) dictated by the Mother of Salvation on the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity

Crusade Prayer 171
June 1, 2024

New Crusade Prayer dictated by the Mother of Salvation on the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity in which she says.

“Here is a very special Crusade of Prayer, which I have been directed by the Most Holy Trinity, to bequeath to the world. It must be said every day.”

Crusade Prayer 171 The Mother’s Prayer of Protection

O Holy Mother of God, come to me at this time in my hour of need.

Offer my intentions to your Son, Jesus Christ, when I am drowning in sorrow.

Free me from the fear and hurt inflicted upon me for following the path of Christ.

Protect all souls from physical and mental oppression in times of turmoil ahead.

Pray, pray, pray for the darkness in the world to be lifted and free us from the perils of the evil one, and those who carry out his devious plans to destroy humanity.

Fill me with the gift of seeking out God’s help when doubts fill my soul as to His promises to redeem humanity from the clutches of evil.

Cover us with your protection and peace. Give us the solace and the strength we need to serve Jesus until our dying breath.

Pray that our suffering will bring relief to souls who are in darkness and help them to seek the salvation that God has promised them through Jesus’ death on the cross. Amen.

Mother of God,
Mother of Salvation.

Note:

Maria was given to understand that we must, as a matter of importance:

Wear the Seal of the Living God Scapular at all times and pray Crusade Prayer 33 every day.

Wear the Seal Crucifix and or St Benedict Crucifix, if possible. Bless ourselves daily with Holy Water. Carry our Rosary beads on our persons at all times. Receive the Sacraments as often as possible. Pray the Holy Rosary daily.

You are able to print these images to distribute to your family and friends

God Bless

Prayer Request : Go now and call this request “My Call to Jesus.” -ONGOING...

Prayer Request : Go now and call this request “My Call to Jesus.”
March 11, 2024

Monday May 14, 2012 at 06:00 pm

My dearest beloved daughter, your gift to Me is accepted and as a result will save a further 5 million souls. *It is My dearest wish to bring an end to your suffering, but, this precious gift you bring Me will now mean I can save more of God’s children.

Never forget that this Mission is to save mankind from Hell. I need your help and the help of others to do this.

Never feel alone, for I love you and am with you the entire time. So many more of God’s children are beginning to hear My Voice at last.

The Work of the Holy Spirit will bear fruit and very soon the Love of God will be felt in the hearts of even the most barren.

Those lost, empty and barren souls will feel a Flame of Love and witness a familiar yearning to be part of My New Kingdom on Earth. Many will not understand why, but they will be unable to deny their feelings of warmth, love and peace.

So many will be surprised and will want to speak with Me. You must now unite people everywhere to request the Gift of My Love. They must ask for special favours to be granted. You, My daughter, must designate one day a week to this. Each lost soul must ask Me to help them. If their request is according to My Holy Will, then I will answer their prayers. This will instil in them a stronger link to My Sacred Heart and My Great Mercy.

Go now and call this request “My Call to Jesus.” My daughter, do this as soon as you can as I wish to ensure that those souls, especially those who do not accept that I speak now, they will finally realise how close I Am to each single soul. Tell them that I love everyone and don’t exclude one single sinner no matter how grievous their sin.

All I ask is for them to come to Me and ask Me to help them.

Your Jesus

*the souls referred to on the first line, are to do with personal suffering offered by Maria Divine Mercy and do not refer to the world as a whole because billions are currently being saved through prayer

If you have a prayer request, please submit it here https://fatherofloveandmercy.wordpress.com/2024/03/11/prayer-request-go-now-and-call-this-request-my-call-to-jesus/. You may use your preferred language or dialect in making the request

Book of Truth In Person Seminar June 1st 2024

Book of Truth In Person Seminar
March 22, 2024

Praised be Jesus and Mary!
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ…
The Mission of Jesus to Mankind invites you all to the in-person Seminar of The Book of Truth in which you will discover the Joy of knowing the Truth. The topic of the seminar is TO BECOME A NEW PERSON IN CHRIST.
This Seminar will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 in Houston, Texas.
“It is not easy to retain your faith in Me, My children, as there are so many obstacles, which block your devotion. You will, from time to time, feel a complete emptiness in your soul. This can leave you in an agitated state because you feel alone without a crutch.
For, My faithful followers, you must understand this. I, despite the loneliness you may experience, Am never far away. All of these episodes have one goal, to strengthen your faith, in such a way, so as to ensure that you move a few steps towards Me each time.”
Your Jesus | Book of Truth – November 24, 2010

We may experience loneliness at times like Jesus said, but He is always with us and wants to comfort us. This will be a time for us to be able to come together with like-minded believers to encourage and support each other.
Through the Book of Truth, the Lord invites us to take part in this Mission of Salvation. He wants us to become closer to Him, to become a new person in Him. He also desires that we help Him to save all His children and we can do this by drawing nearer to Him through prayer.
Throughout this Seminar we will focus on messages in the Book of Truth discussing how to become a new person in Christ. We will discuss how to love our families, our friends, and all people as our love for God grows and deepens. We will hear what Jesus says about the stairway to spiritual perfection and we will also pray for the salvation of souls. contact email: JTM.Seminar.USA@proton.me

Circle of Protection over our Nations

Circle of Protection over our Nations

April 17, 2024

On June 20th, 2012, Our Mother of Salvation gave a Message to Maria Divine Mercy with a call to form a circle of protection over our nations. This is an excerpt from that Message (link to the full Message below): “I, the Mother of God, as Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix have been given the graces to destroy the serpent. By asking me to help you I can offer you protection children from fear. I can, with my son, give you the graces and the circle of protection which no fallen angel can penetrate.

Satan cannot harm or attack all those who say my Holy Rosary every day.

By reciting three or more Rosaries you can extend this protection for others. If even a hundred people could do this they could save their nation from the contamination spread by the evil one.

You must gather together children and pray to protect yourselves.” https://fatherofloveandmercy.wordpress.com/2012/06/20/virgin-mary-i-can-with-my-son-give-you-the-graces-and-the-circle-of-protection-which-no-fallen-angel-can-penetrate/

In obedience to Our Mother’s instructions to gather together to protect ourselves, we are looking for at least 100 volunteers from our country, each committed to pledging and praying three or more Rosaries per day which include the intention to form a Circle of Protection over our country. If you already pray three or more Rosaries per day, then please include this intention within your Rosaries each day.

To become a pledge volunteer for our country, please go to your country’s page on https://jtmglobal.network and click on the “make pledge” button.

Please note that this pledge is an honorary personal promise and gift to our Mother of Salvation, and the three Rosaries are to be prayed along with your other private devotions. There will be no official online zoom prayer groups formed for this purpose.

We will then post on our country’s page to indicate the number of people who have pledged to come pick up the Cross and follow Our Mother’s instructions to form a Circle of Protection over our country. If you have friends or family who would also like to participate, then please have them register on the official website. This way they too will receive updates for the Circle of Protection forming for each nation.

May God help us to quickly unite right now to form a Circle of Protection in all nations

The Cross is your link to Eternal Life. Never forsake the Cross

The Cross is your link to Eternal Life. Never forsake the Cross

April 15, 2014

My dearly beloved daughter, when My beloved followers celebrate Good Friday, they must remember how My Love extends to the human race.

Those who persecuted Me and then killed Me were full of hatred and had hearts of stone. I died for them, despite their hatred, and I suffered a great Agony so that they could be redeemed. Still, so many people today hate and despise Me, on such a grand scale, that were I to reveal the evil, which ravages their souls, you would not be able to stand up.

My attempts to prepare the world, through the Book of Truth, will be fought by My enemies, everywhere. The worst attacks will come from satanic groups, many of whom pose as Christians, so they can vent their anger, by pretending to defend their faith. Such is the manner in which Satan uses his willing victims to attack My Work. How wretched their souls are and how sorrowful I Am, as they continue to betray Me, fling mud at Me and spread lies about My Word, in an effort to steal souls from My Merciful Heart.

I cry Tears of Agony, during this week; because the time is short and I know that no matter how hard I try, many souls will still turn their backs on Me. Why do these souls hate Me so? The answer is because they have no love for Me at all. Many of them find it terrifying that the hatred they feel for Me in their hearts cannot be washed away. They are so possessed by the evil one, that they spend every minute of their day cursing Me.

The vast majority of people no longer believe in Me – it is a small number, who do believe, in an ocean of souls whose magnitude stretches from one side of the Earth to the other. But, I promise you that I will gather as many souls as I can and because of the Love, which I have for you, will extend My Mercy even amongst those who do not deserve it. How I welcome the good, the loving and those pure souls, who come before Me. They fill Me with great joy. Oh how they soothe My Wounds. How they bring Me relief from the sorrow I endure for My poor sinners, who have no idea as to the great joy I promised them in My New Kingdom. So many souls will sadly throw away the key that I gave them to Eternal Life – and for what? A life devoid of meaning, a life full of titillation and empty promises. A weary life of toil, that brings no life – only that which ends in dust. I Am your life. I bring you life. When you accept My death on the Cross and acknowledge My Resurrection, you will never endure death.

To you, of this generation, I say this. You, who are with Me, will not endure death – not even death of the body. Those who betray Me, through sin, when the Truth is given to you, will have no life. So you, My beloved followers, must never be afraid of this Mission.

I will take you and shower you with all the Gifts, which My Father is anxious to bestow upon all of you, as He finally gathers His children into the Kingdom He promised you when He sent Me, His only Son, to salvage your souls, by My death on the Cross. The Cross is your link to Eternal Life. Never forsake the Cross. My death was your route to Eternal Life. Without My Cross, death will prevail for those who reject it.

Your Jesus

Guide for Examination of Conscience for Confession of Sins

Guide for Examination of Conscience for Confession of Sins
March 16, 2016

Guide for Examination of Conscience for Confession of Sins
6 STEPS FOR A GOOD CONFESSION
· Examine your conscience – what sins have you committed since your last good confession.
· Be sincerely sorry for your sins.
· Confess your sins to the priest.
· Make certain that you confess all your mortal sins and the number of them.
· After your confession, do the penance the priest gives to you.
· Pray daily for the strength to avoid the occasion of sin, especially for those sins you were just absolved from.
ACT OF CONTRITION
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You, and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell, but most of all because they offend You, my God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen
Crusade Prayer (8) The Confession

Dearest Jesus, I ask your pardon for all my sins and for the hurt and injury I have caused to others. I humbly pray for the graces to avoid offending You again and to offer penance according to your Most Holy Will.
I plead for the forgiveness of any future offense, which I may partake in and which will cause you pain and suffering. Take me with you into the new Era of Peace, so that I may become part of Your family for eternity.
I love You, Jesus.
I need You.
I honour You and everything You stand for.
Help me, Jesus, so that I may be worthy to enter Your Kingdom.
Amen.

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.” (Ex 20:17)

Note: In the area of deliberate sexual sins listed below, all are mortal sins if there is sufficient reflection and full consent of the will. “No fornicators, idolaters, or adulterers, no sodomites,… will inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Cor 6:9-10) “Anyone who looks lustfully at a woman has already committed adultery with her in his thoughts.” (Mt 5:28)

· Did I envy other people’s families or possessions?
· Did I make material possessions the purpose of my life?
EIGHTH COMMANDMENT
“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.” (Ex 20:16)

· Did I commit perjury?
· Did I gossip or reveal others’ faults or sins?
· Did I fail to keep secret what should be confidential?
OTHER SINS
· Did I fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday?
· Did I eat meat on the Fridays of Lent or Ash Wednesday?
· Did I fail to receive Holy Communion during Eastertime?
· Did I go to Holy Communion in a state of mortal sin? Without fasting (water and medicine permitted) for one hour from food and drink?
· Did I make a bad confession?
· Did I fail to contribute to the support of the Church?
“Whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily sins against the Body and Blood of the Lord. … He who eats and drinks without recognizing the Body eats and drinks judgement on himself.” (1 Cor 11:27-29)
So, to receive Holy Communion while in the state of mortal sin (having committed a mortal sin which has not been confessed and forgiven in the Sacrament of Confession) is itself a mortal sin – a mortal sin of sacrilege.
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.” (Lk 18:13)
“Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven…” (Jn 20:23)
“Though your sins be like scarlet, they shall become white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall become white as wool.” (Is 1:18)
“If we confess our sins, He who is upright can be depended upon to forgive sins, and to cleanse us from every wrong.” (1 Jn 1:9)
“Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing.” (Lk 23:24)
“Forgive us our sins, for we too forgive all who do us wrong.” (Lk 11:4)

An Examination of Conscience for AdultsCompiled from approved sources
I believe in a loving Savior Who forgives my sins and Who gives me the grace to become a saint. Jesus Christ, through the ministry of His priests, does both in the Sacrament of Penance.
“As the Father hath sent Me, I also send you … Receive ye the Holy Ghost. Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.” (John 20:21-23)
“If your sins be as scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow.” (Isaias 1:18)
“I am not come to call the just, but sinners.” (Matt. 9:13)
“Men have received from God a power not granted to angels or archangels. Never was it said to the heavenly spirits, ‘Whatsoever you shall bind and unbind on earth shall be bound and unbound in heaven.’ The princes of this world can only bind and unbind the body. The power of the priest extends further; it reaches the soul, and it is exercised not only in baptizing, but still more in pardoning sins. Let us not blush, then, to confess our faults. He who blushes to discover his sins to a man, and who will not confess, shall be covered with shame on the Day of Judgment in the presence of the whole universe.” (St. John Chrysostom, Treatise on Priests, Bk. 3)
Prayer before Confession: O Lord, grant me light to see myself as Thou dost see me, and the grace to be truly and effectively sorry for my sins. O Mary, help me to make a good confession.
How to Confess: First examine your conscience well, then tell the priest the specific kind of sins you have committed and, to the best of your ability, how many times you have committed them since your last good confession. You are obliged to confess only mortal sins, since you can obtain forgiveness for your venial sins by sacrifices and acts of charity. If you are in doubt about whether a sin is mortal or venial, mention your doubt to the confessor. Remember also, confession of venial sins is very helpful for avoiding sin and advancing toward Heaven.
Necessary conditions for a sin to be mortal:
1. Serious Matter
2. Sufficient Reflection
3. Full Consent of the Will
Preliminary Considerations:
1. Have I ever deliberately failed to confess a past serious sin, or have I willfully disguised or hidden such a sin?
Note: The deliberate concealing of a mortal sin invalidates one´s confession and makes the person guilty of another mortal sin. Remember that the confession is private under the Seal of Confession, i.e., it is a mortal sin for the priest to reveal the matter of one´s confession to anyone else.
2. Have I been guilty of irreverence for this sacrament by failing to examine my conscience carefully?
3. Have I failed to do the penance given to me by the priest?
4. Have I any habits of serious sin to confess first (e.g. impurity, drunkenness, etc.)?
First Commandment: I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not have strange gods before Me. (Including sins against Faith, Hope and Charity)
1. Have I neglected the knowledge of my faith as taught in the catechism, such as the Apostles’ Creed, the Ten Commandments, the Seven Sacraments, the Our Father, etc.?
2. Have I deliberately doubted or denied any of the teachings of the Church?
3. Have I taken part in any non-Catholic worship?
4. Am I a member of any non-Catholic religious organization, secret society or anti-Catholic group?
5. Have I knowingly read any heretical, blasphemous or anti-Catholic literature?
6. Have I practiced any superstitions (such as horoscopes, fortune telling, Ouija board, etc.)?
7. Have I omitted religious duties or practices through motives of human respect?
8. Have I recommended myself daily to God?
9. Have I been faithful to my daily prayers?
10. Have I abused the Sacraments in any way? Received them irreverently, e.g. Communion in the Hand without obeying the principles and the 7 rules promulgated by Paul VI as binding in this matter?
11. Have I made fun of God, Our Lady, the Saints, the Church, the Sacraments, other holy things?
12. Have I been guilty of great irreverence in church, e.g., conversation, behavior, or dress?
13. Have I been indifferent with regard to my Catholic Faith — believing one can be saved in any religion, that all religions are equal?
14. Have I presumed on God´s mercy at any time?
15. Have I despaired of God´s mercy?
16. Have I hated God?
17. Have I given too much importance to any creature, activity, object or opinion?
Second Commandment: Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
1. Have I sworn by God’s name falsely, rashly or in slight and trivial matters?
2. Have I murmured or complained against God (blasphemy)?
3. Have I cursed myself or others, or any creature?
4. Have I angered others so as to make them swear or blaspheme God?

2. Have I been late for Mass on Sundays or Holy Days of obligation or left early through my own fault?
3. Have I made others miss Mass on Sundays or Holy Days of obligation, leave early or be late for Mass?
4. Have I been willfully distracted during Mass?
5. Have I done or commanded unnecessary servile work on Sunday or Holy Days of Obligation?
6. Have I bought or sold things not of necessity on Sunday and Holy Days of obligation?
Fourth Commandment: Honor thy father and thy mother.
1. Have I been disobedient or disrespectful to my parents, or have I neglected or refused to aid them in their wants or to do their last will?
2. Have I shown irreverence to others in positions of authority?
3. Have I maligned or insulted priests or others consecrated to God?
4. Have I failed in due reverence to aged persons?
5. Have I mistreated my spouse or my children?
6. Have I been disobedient or disrespectful to my husband?
7. Regarding my children:
Have I neglected their material needs?
Have I failed to care for their early baptism? *(See below.)
Have I failed to care for their proper religious education?
Have I allowed them to neglect their religious duties?
Have I allowed them to date/go steady without the prospect of marriage within the near future? (St. Alphonsus says 1 year maximum.)
Have I failed to supervise the company they keep?
Have I failed to discipline them when they need it?
Have I given them a bad example?
Have I scandalized them by arguing with my spouse in front of my children?
Have I scandalized them by cursing or swearing in front of them?
Have I guarded modesty in the home?
Have I permitted them to wear immodest clothing (mini skirts; tight pants, dresses, or sweaters; see-through blouses, short-shorts, revealing swim suits, etc.)?†
Have I denied their freedom to marry or follow a religious vocation?
*Infants should be baptized as soon as possible. Apart from particular diocesan prescriptions, it appears to be the general view … that an infant should be baptized within about a week or ten days after birth. Many Catholics defer Baptism for a fortnight or a little over. The view that Baptism should be administered within three days after birth is considered too strict. St. Alphonsus, following common opinion, thought that a delay, without reason, beyond ten or eleven days would be a grievous sin. In view of modern custom, which is known and not corrected by local Ordinaries, a delay beyond a month without reason would be a serious sin. If there is no probable danger to the child, parents cannot be convicted of serious sin if they defer Baptism a little beyond three weeks at the outside, but the practice of having an infant baptized within about a week or ten days of birth is to be strongly commended, and indeed an earlier date may be rightly recommended. — H. Davis, S.J., Moral and Pastoral Theology, Vol. III, pg. 65, Sheed and Ward, New York 1935

St. Anthony Mary Claret´s Examination of Venial Sins
The soul should avoid all venial sins, especially those which pave the way for grave sin. It is not enough, my soul, to have a firm resolve to suffer death rather than consent to any grave sin. It is necessary to have a like resolution to venial sin. He who does not find in himself this will, cannot have security. There is nothing which can give us such a certain security of eternal salvation as an uninterrupted cautiousness to avoid even the lightest venial sin, and a notable, all-extensive earnestness reaching to all practices of the spiritual life — earnestness in prayer, and in dealing with God; earnestness in mortification and self-denial; earnestness in being humble and in accepting contempt; earnestness in obeying and renouncing one’s own self-will; earnest love of God and neighbor. He who wants to gain this earnestness and keep it, must necessarily have the resolve to always avoid especially the following venial sins:
1. The sin of giving entrance into your heart to any unreasonable suspicion or unfair judgment against your neighbor.
2. The sin of introducing talk about another’s defects or offending charity in any other way, even lightly.
3. The sin of omitting out of laziness our spiritual practices or of performing them with voluntary neglect.
4. The sin of having a disordered affection for somebody.
5. The sin of having a vain esteem for oneself, or of taking vain satisfaction in things pertaining to us.
6. The sin of receiving the holy Sacraments in a careless way, with distractions and other irreverences, and without a serious preparation.
7. . Impatience, resentment, any failure to accept disappointments as coming from God’s Hand; for this puts obstacles in the way of the decrees and dispositions of Divine Providence concerning us.
8. The sin of giving ourselves an occasion that can even remotely blemish a spotless condition of holy purity.
9. The fault of advertently hiding from those who ought to learn them, one’s bad inclinations, weaknesses, and mortifications, seeking to pursue the road of virtue not under the direction of obedience, but under the guidance of one’s own whims.

Note: This speaks of times when we might have worthy direction if we seek it, but we prefer to follow our own dim lights.

Prayer for a Good Confession
O my God, by my grievous sins I have crucified again Thy Divine Son and made Him a mockery. For this I have deserved Thy wrath and made myself fit for the fires of hell. How ungrateful have I been to Thee as well, my heavenly Father, Who created me out of nothing, redeemed me by the precious Blood of Thy Son and sanctified me by Thy holy sacraments and by the Holy Ghost. But Thou hast spared me by Thy mercy, to make this confession. Receive me back as Thy prodigal son and grant me to confess well, that I may begin anew to love Thee with my whole heart and soul, and henceforth to keep Thy commandments and suffer patiently whatever temporal punishment may remain. I hope by Thy goodness and power to obtain everlasting life in Paradise. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

A Final Note
Remember to confess your sins with supernatural sorrow as well as a firm resolution not to sin again, and to avoid the near occasions of sin. Ask your confessor to help you with any difficulties you have in making a good confession. Say your penance promptly.
An Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee. And I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen

Divine Mercy Novena

Divine Mercy Novena
April 2, 2021fatherofloveandmercy

A novena is typically nine days of prayer in preparation of a celebration of a feast day. At the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy Novena is recited perpetually at the Hour of Great Mercy — the three o’clock hour.

The Chaplet can be said anytime, but the Lord specifically asked that it be recited as a novena. He promised, “By this Novena (of Chaplets), I will grant every possible grace to souls.”
For each of the nine days, our Lord gave Saint Faustina a different intention:

All mankind, especially sinners; the souls of priests and religious; all devout and faithful souls; those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know Jesus; the souls who have separated themselves from the Church; the meek and humble souls and the souls of little children; the souls who especially venerate and glorify His mercy; the souls detained in purgatory; and souls who have become lukewarm.

“I desire that during these nine days you bring souls to the fountain of My mercy, that they may draw therefrom strength and refreshment and whatever grace they have need of in the hardships of life, and especially at the hour of death” (Diary, 1209).

Here is a link to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy by audio, video or text. https://www.thedivinemercy.org/message/devotions/chaplet

You will start this novena at 3PM on Good Friday and everyday for 9 days.

During Faustina’s canonization, Beloved John Paul II, instituted the feast day of Divine Mercy Sunday on the first Sunday after Easter; and the following instructions of Our Lord to Sr. Fausina were an incentive for its establishment.

Jesus said, “My daughter, tell the whole world about My inconceivable mercy. I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet. My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or of angel, will be able to fathom it throughout all eternity. Everything that exists has come forth from the very depths of My most tender mercy. Every soul in its relation to Me will contemplate My love and mercy throughout eternity.
The Feast of Mercy emerged from My very depths of tenderness. It is My desire that it be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy” (Diary, #699).

In 2002, Pope John Paul II entrusted the whole world to the Mercy of God; and proclaimed Divine Mercy as the answer to all the world’s problems. Pope John Paul died on the vigil of Divine Mercy Sunday, leaving us this beautiful feast day, which is one of the greatest treasures of the Church.

This sacred day, allows the Faithful to obtain a PLENARY indulgence by following three conditions and devotions:
Sacramental Confession
Eucharistic Communion,
Prayer for the Intentions of Our Holy Father, the Pope.

These must be done in any church or chapel, in a spirit that is completely detached from the affection for sin, even a venial sin, and take part in the prayers and devotions (Recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Veneration of the Divine Mercy Image) held in honor of Divine Mercy, OR in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament exposed or reserved in the tabernacle, recite the Our Father and the Creed, adding a devout prayer to the merciful Lord Jesus (e.g. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you); (Note: this plenary indulgence is applicable to the souls in Purgatory).

In order to obtain a PARTIAL indulgence, the Faithful are required to pray, a legitimately approved invocation to our Merciful Lord Jesus (e.g. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you) with a contrite heart.

For those who are sick and those who nurse them, and all who for a just cause are home bound or are driven out of their homeland, or who carry out an activity for the community which cannot be postponed, may obtain a PLENARY indulgence on Divine Mercy Sunday, by totally detesting any sin with the intention of fulfilling as soon as possible the three usual conditions: Sacramental Confession,
Eucharistic Communion,
Prayer for the intentions of Our Holy Father, the Pope,

and the recitation of the Our Father and the Creed before a devout image of Our Merciful Lord Jesus and, in addition, pray a devout invocation to Him (e.g. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you.)

If it is impossible for some people to obtain the PLENARY indulgence according to the last way I described, then the Faithful may obtain the PLENARY Indulgence, if with a spiritual intention, they are united with those carrying out the prescribed practice for obtaining the Indulgence in the usual way and offer to the Merciful Lord a prayer and the sufferings of their illness and the difficulties of their lives, with the resolution to accomplish as soon as possible the three conditions prescribed to obtain the plenary indulgence, which once again are: Sacramental Confession,
Eucharistic Communion,
Prayer for the intentions of Our Holy Father, the Pope.

(The specific information, which explains the process of obtaining the indulgences in honor of Divine Mercy Sunday was taken from the Apostolic Penitentiary Decree given approval by Archbishop Luigi De Magistris, Tit. Archbishop of Nova, Major Pro-Penitentiary and Fr. Gianfranco Girotti, O. F. M. Conv., Regent).

First Day:
Today bring to Me ALL MANKIND, ESPECIALLY ALL SINNERS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me.

Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us and to forgive us, do not look upon our sins but upon our trust which we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart, and never let us escape from It. We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon all mankind and especially upon poor sinners, all enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion show us Your mercy, that we may praise the omnipotence of Your mercy for ever and ever. Amen.

Second Day:
Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS, and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them as through channels My mercy flows out upon mankind.

Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service,* that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyard—upon the souls of priests and religious; and endow them with the strength of Your blessing. For the love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your power and light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless mercy for ages without end. Amen.

Third Day:
Today bring to Me ALL DEVOUT AND FAITHFUL SOULS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. The souls brought Me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness.

Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, You impart Your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from It. We beg this grace of You by that most wonderous love for the heavenly Father with which Your Heart burns so fiercely.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon faithful souls, as upon the inheritance of Your Son. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, grant them Your blessing and surround them with Your constant protection. Thus may they never fail in love or lose the treasure of the holy faith, but rather, with all the hosts of Angels and Saints, may they glorify Your boundless mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Fourth Day:
Today bring to Me The PAGANS AND THOSE WHO DO NOT YET KNOW ME. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy.

Most compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too, may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Fifth Day:
Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAVE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM MY CHURCH,* and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church, My wounds heal and in this way they alleviate My Passion.

Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son’s Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Sixth Day:
Today bring to Me THE MEEK AND HUMBLE SOULS AND THE SOULS OF LITTLE CHILDREN, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. Only the humble soul is capable of receiving My grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence.

Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father’s favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Seventh Day:
Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ESPECIALLY VENERATE AND GLORIFY MY MERCY,* and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over my Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death.

Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy; and united to You, O Jesus, they carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God:

Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory. Amen.

Eighth Day:
Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ARE DETAINED IN PURGATORY, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice.

Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be celebrated.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in Purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son, and by all the bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded: Manifest Your mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny. Look upon them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus, Your dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Your goodness and compassion. Amen.

Ninth Day:
Today bring to Me SOULS WHO HAVE BECOME LUKEWARM,* and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. These souls wound My Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: ‘Father, take this cup away from Me, if it be Your will.’ For them, the last hope of salvation is to run to My mercy.

Most compassionate Jesus, You are Compassion Itself. I bring lukewarm souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In this fire of Your pure love, let these tepid souls, who, like corpses, filled You with such deep loathing, be once again set aflame. O Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise the omnipotence of Your mercy and draw them into the very ardor of Your love, and bestow upon them the gift of holy love, for nothing is beyond Your power.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon lukewarm souls who are nonetheless enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Father of Mercy, I beg You by the bitter Passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross: Let them, too, glorify the abyss of Your mercy. Amen.
